Members of Ween, Joe Russo's Almost Dead, Band of Changes, and visual artists from Central New Jersey are banding together to raise funds for The Chubby's Project, a nonprofit dedicated to food justice and building connections within the local community. The fundraiser shall help a recently deceased friend's family, among others.

Beth Jarvie is a photo artist from Hamilton Square, New Jersey. She is inspired by the edges, contrast, and textures which surround us every day. Beth believes that art and beauty are within our sight daily, and that when we engage and consciously take the time to notice, we can all find the extraordinary in the ordinary. Her current #lookup series of images are an invitation to tilt your head and appreciate the intersection of sky and architecture, nature and humanity, as well as a reminder to keep your chin up in life, embrace a positive attitude, and enjoy the happiness these moments can kindle.

Johanna Furst is a painter, sculptor, dancer, designer, and teacher living in Lambertville, NJ. Her work is the embodiment of her statement, "I contemplate the gap between the human’s experience and power compared to other living organisms. The human’s brilliance and creativity often seems out-of-sync, reckless and in-denial in regard to nature. We have an existence problem without nature and seem to forget how dependent we are. I would like to think that the earth depends upon us, as we depend upon her. I wonder if we are still enough in our inner landscape, we may understand the earth’s message to us and unlock a divine code, that we are meant to retrieve while here." Sally Stang is a Seargentsville, New Jersey-based artist. She creates botanical collages of petals, leaves, stems, pods and the occasional insect wing and feather. "Nature has created the shapes and colors, I'm just doing some flat flower arranging! The composition is not planned ahead, although I think it is like a jigsaw puzzle. I select, then lay down the biggest pieces, build a bit of the outer edges, then find more pieces that nestle into each other. Then, at the end, I add little whimsical flourishes like tendrils, or tiny flowers to fill in the empty spots."

She is the New College West Ceramics Studio Manager at Princeton University. She has taught ceramics, 3D design, and sculpture at Herron School of Art in Indianapolis, the University of Southern Maine, the University of Colorado, Bucks County Community College, and the University of Washington. She has attended artist residencies at Wheaton Arts, the John Michael Kohler Arts/Industry Program, Sculpture Space in New York, Peters Valley in New Jersey, and Southern Methodist University. Her work has been included in group and solo exhibitions, including the Jersey City Museum, Dallas International Airport, Aljira Center for Contemporary Art, and the Newark Museum of Art. Richard Speedy is a Hopewell-based photographer. He has pursued a wide variety of subjects and imaging possibilities both in the studio and in the world at large. Speedy has spent over 26 years photographing intensely demanding assignments for the advertising industry. He now shoots his own fine art photography. Whether his subject is an early-morning oceanscape, a still life in his studio, or a rusting, sun-baked pickup out West, his passion and artistry expose a unique and fresh vision of the world around us. David Shirey of the New York Times has stated of Speedy’s work: "......... we might not see the same things Richard Speedy sees. Most of us do not have his poetic vision or his instantaneous grasping of the beautiful in nature, or his fantasy. At times, the pictures look like storybook images, as in one photograph of mushrooms with their long stalks and umbrella caps amidst a blur of plants, they are creatures of another world." Chris Harford is a painter and musician from Princeton, New Jersey. He holds a BFA in Studio for Interrelated Media from Massachusetts College of Art. He began exhibiting paintings at the side gallery of the infamous New York City rock club CBGBs in the early 1990's. As a musician, he's released 14 studio albums and has toured the US, Europe and South America. He's also been writing and performing songs with Pulitzer prize winning Irish poet Paul Muldoon in his band Rogue Oliphant. Harford's latest musical project is the Reggae/Dub band Blanc du Blanc.
